FASTOP IS is a liquid food additive made in accordance with European standards and is included in the "List of synthetic food materials" developed by the Gelsenkirchen-Germany Hygiene Institute. The additive is part of the category of self-leveling additives, used to stop leakages in drinking water or domestic (cold water, hot water) pipes up to 25 liters per day, both in closed circuits and in open ones (ACM).
The principle of action is mechanical, to strengthen the product from the inside to the outside in contact with the air, similar to the coagulation phenomenon of blood from a wound. FASTOP IS can be used to repair cracks, imperfections, etc. on any material (steel, copper, aluminum PPR). The presence of plant microfibers in the product causes the circulation speed to slow down during application of sealing and thus the product's contact time with the air increases.
Way of ussage:
Clear the faulty system circuit by measuring the amount of water collected. It is mandatory to disconnect and isolate all related equipment (filters, fittings, plant pump, etc.) with plugs. Wash thoroughly the system to be repaired, and in the case of limescale, slime, etc., use CLEANEX disinfectants for washing.
With an injection pump, enter the FASTOP IS as such or a maximum of 1: 1 dilution (50%) in the plant segment to be repaired providing a 5 bar pressure. Keep the FASTOP IS circulation for 24-72 hours, during which time the product will penetrate into the crack from the inside to the outside and will strengthen in contact with the air. Empty the solution and rinse well with water. After use, the disposable FASTOP IS solution can be collected in a sealed, sealed container for re-use 2-3 times.
