Professional water-reducing plasticizer specially formulated for screeds covering underfloor heating systems.
Used in admixture with cement, the additive provides a higher shear elasticity, increasing maneuverability and mechanical resistance to vibration by the rapid removal of existing air into the concrete. The blend provides better contact with underfloor heating circuits, optimizing heat transfer. The FLOOR PROTECT screed additive is completely water-soluble, chlorine-free and does not corrode metal structures or equipment.
The product is CE marked and is formulated in accordance with SR EN 934-2 T2, being compatible with all the types of cement used in underfloor heating.
Way of ussage:
0.5% - 1% of the total amount of cement is added (for 100 kg of cement added between 0.5 and 1 kg of additive) For maximum efficiency, it is recommended to mix the powdery materials (cement and aggregates) with minimum 70% of the water. Add the additive to this mixture and mix for 3-5 minutes until homogeneous. Add the remaining water until the desired consistency is achieved. The blend keeps its workability for up to 90 minutes.
